The Committee of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities celebrate her 60 years Diamond Jubilee

The Committee of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities celebrates her 60 years Diamond Jubilee with the theme – Celebrating 60 years of leadership in Nigerian Universities.

The keynote speech was delivered by Prof. Ekanem Braide, where she shared her insights on the topic “60 Years of Leadership in the Nigerian University System: Perspectives and Prognosis.”

Our Vice Chancellors and delegates engaged in critical conversations on various topics, including:

Minister Tasks Universities On Making Nigeria A Manufacturing Hub

– Leadership and Management of Nigerian Higher Education
– Responsibility, Sustainability, and Sustainable Goals (SDGs)
– Emancipation, eliminating discrimination, and preventing violence against women, girls, and people with disabilities
– Federating Education Repository
– Addressing women’s underrepresentation and enabling education access, inclusion, and tackling subject segregation
– Challenging gender bias, stereotypes, discrimination, and stigmatization
– Equity, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity on our Campuses: Perspectives of the Operators

Additionally, we had three very important master classes on relevant issues:

– AI and the Future of Education Technology in Tertiary Institutions
– Cybersecurity and Learning Analytics for Educational Establishments, presented by Layer3
– Funding and Profiting from University Sports, with Mr. Adedamilola Adedotun as Speaker
