| Professor Olanipekun was born in Ado-Ekiti on 9th March, 1966. He attended St. Paul? Anglican Primary School A, Odo-Ado, Ado-Ekiti between Sept. 1972 and July 1977. Thereafter, he proceeded to Mary Immaculate Grammar School between 1977 and 1982 for his secondary education. The new Vice-Chancellor bagged B.Sc degree in Chemistry in 1986, M.Sc in Industrial Chemistry in 1988 and Ph.D in Industrial Chemistry in 1995, all obtained from the University of Ibadan. He joined the services of Ekiti State University in October 1991 as Lecturer II, became a Lecturer I in October 1993 and was promoted to the position of Senior Lecturer in October 1996.
